Our FIVE3 Team

FOUNDER, OWNER, THERAPY, COUNSELLING

Jodie Karpinski
MSW, RSW

As the owner of FIVE3 Therapy, I am excited to share both my passion and narrative with our community.

As far back as I can remember, I found myself continuously drawn towards the helping profession. Finding my own self at an impasse post- pandemic, I knew I wanted to make an impact and somehow help others make lasting change. Armed with this awareness, I eventually connected back with my authentic self and partnered together, with my spouse to grow an incredible practice allowing accessible and affordable services in our community.

My goal is to welcome you to the FIVE3 family by sharing brave spaces while supporting yourself, family or child(ren) to heal or meet your therapy goals.

THERAPIST, THERAPY, COUNSELLING

Carley Leathem
MSW, RSW

I’m Carley and I have 22 years working in the field of mental health and addictions. After graduating from Humber College in Child and Youth Work, I started working as a harm reduction substance abuse counsellor with youth aged 12-25.  I worked in a variety of settings such as shelters, schools, mental health treatment centres and community centres.  I continued my education, getting an Honours Bachelor degree in Applied Science from University of Guelph Humber in their Community Social Services program and received my Masters of Social Work from University of Windsor.  While accomplishing my educational goals, I worked as a crisis mental health counsellor at Kids Help Phone supporting youth up to the age of 30.  Currently, I counsel and support youth and their families experiencing their first episode of psychosis.  Throughout my career, I have worked one on one, with families or in group settings; always focused on creating a safe space and connection.

My approach is strength based and client centered which means you are the expert of your life.  I am there to support, help guide and create a space where you feel heard, acknowledged and safe.  I see it as an honour to be a part of your healing journey.
